Mission Statement

Our Purpose

To honor the humanitarian legacy of Tyrell Finley by creating safe, nurturing spaces where individuals and families can thrive. Inspired by Tyrell's dedicated service in supportive housing and youth mentorship, we advocate for community safety, cultivate artistic expression, and provide the tools for life improvement that help people of all ages achieve wholeness through love and compassion.

The 4UHEAVY Framework

Educational Empowerment & Mentoring

Youth Education / Workforce Development

Hybrid tutoring and in-person mentorship for K–12 students, combining academic support with emotional development and college-readiness coaching.

Strategic Partnerships for Safe Spaces

Housing / Mental Health / Community Safety

Collaboration with local churches, D9 organizations, shelters, and nonprofits to create Safe Havens offering counseling, emergency housing, and community advocacy.

Holistic Life Improvement

Social Services / Arts / Environmental Wellness

Life skills training, artistic expression programs, and the 4UHEAVY Community Legacy Garden providing nutrition education, environmental wellness, and pathways from crisis to stability.

Pedestrian Safety Advocacy

Community Safety / Public Infrastructure

The Second Street Pedestrian Safety Project advocates for crosswalks and pedestrian infrastructure improvements in underserved neighborhoods.

Kim T. Finley

Executive Director, Co-Founder

Kim Finley is Tyrell Ramone Finley's bonus mom — known to his children as MiMo (or MiMa) — and the driving force behind the 4UHEAVY Foundation. Motivated by both grief and determination, she established the organization to ensure that Tyrell's humanitarian legacy continues — for his four children and for the communities he served.
